    Position Overview

    The Finance Director at Rebellion Fabrication is not a back-office role—it is a leadership seat. This role consolidates the traditional Controller and Finance Director responsibilities into one hands-on, executive-level position designed for our current stage of growth. We are seeking a player-coach who can personally execute high-level accounting work today while building the financial and shared-services infrastructure required for tomorrow.

    As the Finance Director, you will:

    • Own the Finance Seat on the Leadership Team

    • Personally manage financial execution across two entities

    • Oversee IT, HR, and Administrative Shared Services

    • Translate ownership’s vision into financial clarity, discipline, and forward momentum

    This role is ideal for a seasoned financial leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and is energized by building systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Tactical Financial Execution (Immediate Focus):

    • Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including weekly A/P and A/R cadence

    • Oversee payroll processing in partnership with a third-party provider

    • Maintain accurate job costing, WIP tracking, and expense controls across all projects

    • Manage banking relationships and oversee six existing loan structures

    • Drive monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

    • Prepare and present timely, accurate financial statements and reports

    • Personally clean up and stabilize financials across two entities before scaling

    Strategic Leadership & Shared Services:

    • Own company-wide budgeting, cash flow planning, and forecasting

    • Translate strategic priorities into actionable financial plans and metrics

    • Serve as the accountable leader for Accounting, HR, IT, and Administrative functions

    • Build scalable systems, processes, and controls to support continued growth

    • Identify, implement, and optimize accounting software and reporting tools

    • Partner with ownership and leadership to set, track, and achieve company goals

    • Design future team structure and talent needs as the organization scales

    What You Bring to the Table

    • Experience: 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, fabrication, or construction

    • Technical Expertise: Strong command of job costing, GAAP/FASB standards, financial reporting, and cash flow management

    • Leadership Range: Proven ability to lead beyond accounting; experience overseeing HR, IT, or shared services strongly preferred

    • Execution Mindset: Comfortable rolling up your sleeves while maintaining executive-level accountability

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus)

    • Personality & Fit: A decisive, goal-driven leader who values clarity, ownership, and momentum

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: $135,000 – $165,000 (based on experience)

    • Incentives: Participation in Leadership Team deferred incentive plan and long-term ownership opportunities
